Previous Experience:

Angela Melton is currently a VOCA 2 Staff Attorney in the Bridgewater Office.  She represents victims of crime in civil litigation matters relating to their victimization.  She serves on the Beaver County STOP Grant Domestic Violence Task Force and the Beaver County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force.  She is a former member of NLS Board of Directors, serving as the Beaver County Bar Association representative.

Prior to joining NLS, Ms. Melton was employed for nine years by LexisNexis® and FileandServeXPress® as a legal and judicial trainer. Along with teaching courses for courts, legal associations, and law firms, Ms. Melton developed substantive and ethics CLE courses.  Ms. Melton obtained 40 hours of training in mediation and conflict resolution and conducted private and court-appointed mediations.  She has previous experience in civil litigation and family law matters and was a Law Clerk for Robert E. Kunselman, former President Judge, Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County.


Ms. Melton earned her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1991.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Duquesne University in 1982.

Ms. Melton is a member of the Beaver County Bar Association, serving on the Domestic Relations Rules Committee, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
