meets 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening each month at Focus on Renewal in McKees Rocks. Accepts clients from the McKees Rocks and Stowe Township Area. Income guidelines: 250% of poverty; no asset test (although if client is found to have considerable assets, service may be limited to advice.) Uptown Legal Clinic
currently meets one Wednesday evening a month; may soon expand to two evenings; located at Bethlehem Haven in the lower Hill District (Fifth Avenue Commons; 905 Watson Street). Accepts clients from the area around Bethlehem Haven and may accept others as well. Income guidelines: 250% of poverty; no asset test. You will need to have a referral to this clinic from a social service agency.
Oakland Area Christian Legal Aid Clinic
1st and 3rd Thursdays each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, 4729 Ellsworth Avenue (corner of Neville and Ellsworth). Accepts clients from all locations. Income guidelines: self-reported net income of 125% of poverty.
