Consumer Issues
Dealing with debt can be a demanding and difficult process. Knowing what your rights are can relieve some of the pressure of being in debt and prevent you from compounding the problem. NLSA offers brochures explaining Collection Procedures and information on Ending Harassment from Bill Collectors. There is also a copy of IRS Publication 4156 "Tax Benefits and Credits" which contains information on federal tax benefits and credits for taxpayers with children.
